ALX WERKS?

My name is Alex and I am the proud owner/operator of ALX WERKS. I started ALX WERKS in 2024 to expand my creativity and precision to the automotive industry.

It all started when I was in middle school, customizing and hand painting sneakers as a way to create unique artwork for my friends. By high school, I realized that I had a small little side hustle going on! I was getting noticed by social media pages and local sneakerheads were starting to recognize my name as “Horizoncustoms.” By college, I had a special client who was able to connect me with BET Stars and was able to fulfill orders for celebrities like Snoop Dog, 2 Chainz, and Safaree. Little did I know how strong the power of relationships and great client care would take me this far at such a young age. This endeavor lasted from 2010-2019, I ended it to pursue bigger dreams.

My passion for sneakers, cars and business has now led me to delivering you The Craft of Automotive Vinyl. I have always been one to tinker with vehicles to go faster and run longer, but there was this itch to make sure it was cosmetically pleasing. Even after graduating from the University of Houston in Spring 21’ with two business majors, I never stopped learning. After multiple business ventures, I landed on automotive vinyl and decided to perfect this craft.
